"Sweet, sassy and soft" is how Audrey Ashburn would describe Maybelline New Yorks's Baby Lips. The cute new lip product took control and now is in the makeup bags of millions. Most, like Ashburn, would "totally recommend it!" But is Baby Lips really worth the $5 a pop at your local pharmacy? Maybelline claims that in "4 weeks 94% had less rough lips, 82% had visibly less dry, 77% suppler, 77% had better-looking lips." Though some, like consumer Anna Arocha, would disagree.
"Baby Lips did make my lips feels moisturized when the product was on." Arocha said. "After it would rub off, my lips felt more dry. It made them feel sorta weird." Whether or not Baby Lips keeps your lips hydrated, the popping colors and the sweet smells keeps the costumers coming back.Currently there are 6 baby lips including, Peach Kiss, Pink Punch, and Grape Vine. There are also other rare limited edition ones out there sold for the same price. Each of which come in eye catching, girly tubes.
